Over 5 years later, I had the opportunity to attend AI Week 2024 as a delegate from Axis Innovation. AI Week is a leading international conference that showcases the forefront of AI research and the exploration of real-world case studies.
Niv Efron (Director of Engineering at Google), stood out to me as he spoke about the responsibility of AI and the goal of creating AI assistance for each and every part of a startup, from its inception all the way to its day-to-day operations.
Additionally, Prof. Gal Chechik (Director of AI at Nvidia) hosted a case study on AI-generated images. After giving a brief about their origin, he detailed the progression of text-to-image models and how the AI can understand more specific inputs to produce greater and clearer images.
It was a great experience learning about the startup ecosystem in Israel as well as the future of AI and its integration into our society. After 5 years, Sundar Pichai’s prediction is unfolding into an integrated world that will benefit our society.
